2 <br />APPLICATION COSTS: <br />The application is estimated to require approximately 40 hours of Bolton & Menk staff time to <br />complete. It will be completed using the reduced hourly rate of $75 per hour provided within the <br />General Engineering budget, resulting in an estimated cost of about $3,000. These expenses are <br />proposed to be covered by the General Engineering Budget. The costs for professional services related <br />to the grant application are not eligible for reimbursement. <br />Staff will also be looking into the League of Minnesota Cities’ Grant Navigator program that will fund <br />up to $5,000.00 for consulting expenses to prepare a grant application. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution authorizing staff to submit a grant <br />application for the Labore Road Improvement Project to the Local Road Improvement Program, <br />requesting $1.5 million. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />•Resolution <br />•Location Map
