STAFF REPORT <br />To:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />From:Evan Glunz, Utility Billing/Administrative Support Specialist <br />SCORE Grant Administrator <br />Date:October 8, 2025 <br />Re:2026 Municipal SCORE Funding Grant Application <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table or deny the following: <br />ď‚·Authorize staff to submit the 2026 SCORE grant application to Ramsey County and execution <br />of grant agreement by the City Administrator. <br />Background: <br />The City of Little Canada receives SCORE funding from Ramsey County Public Health that is used to <br />support our waste reduction and recycling-related activities and services in Little Canada. Staff is <br />requesting authorization to submit the grant application for the 2026 SCORE funding. <br />The estimated 2026 Municipal SCORE Grant available for Little Canada is $72,000.00. <br />Application Costs: <br />Staff anticipates no expenses aside from their own time. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends the Council approve authorizing submission of the 2026 SCORE grant application.
