CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 2026-PW40 <br /> <br />COUNTRY DRIVE <br />FROM ST. PAUL WATERWORKS CORRIDOR TO SOUTH OWASSO BLVD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of <br />Country Drive (2026-PW40) by mill and overlay, sidewalk improvements, spot curb & gutter <br />repairs, and spot improvements to the underground utility systems. This report was received by <br />the City Council on October 22, 2025, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost- <br />effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The City Council will consider the improvement of Country Drive in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost to the City of Little <br />Canada of $1,232,311. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on December 3, 2025, in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center at 7:30 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this 22nd day of October, 2025. <br /> <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Thomas Fischer, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br />Heidi Heller, City Clerk
