515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117-1600
(651) 766-4029 www.littlecanadamn.org
Community Building Technical Advisory Team
Meeting #4 September 3, 2025 6:00pm
Little Canada City Hall
Agenda
TAC members present: Derek Anderson, Steve Anderson, Amanda Guiterrez, Shawn Hipp,
Ron Horwath, Emelie Lindabaur, Laura Linehan, Curt Loschy, Dave Miller, Maggie DeLong
Miller, Monika Miller, Jason Owens, Asa Posner, Bryce Shearen, Kate Williams
Absent: Jordan Ruplinger
Welcome: The TAC meeting was called to order at 6:01pm by Steve Anderson.
Public Comment: None.
Draft Concept Reveal:
Lance Shuer, Landscape Architect with Bolton and Menk attended the TAC meeting to share
a draft concept of the community building. Three layout designs were shared.
Layout #1 showed an east/west facing building with attached exterior restrooms.
Layout #2 showed the same layout but included a separate restroom building closer to the
playground.
Layout #3 showed a north/south facing building with exterior restrooms attached.
The TAC discussed they would like to see bathrooms attached to the exterior of the building
rather than an additional structure. They would like to see clear separation from the public
exterior restrooms and the outdoor rental space.
They would like both a public and private outdoor space, the private rental space would be
located towards the southeast area of the parcel.
They would also like to see a rain garden that follows the curve of the ball fields to serve as a
barrier between the fields and the building.
The outdoor furniture should be stationary and durable.
The TAC took a break at 7:29pm.
The TAC meeting resumed at 7:39pm.
169
