Staff Report <br />To:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />From:Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br />Date: November 12, 2025 <br />Re:Temporary Liquor License for Little Canada Recreation Association <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />Approve a 2-day temporary liquor license for Little Canada Recreation Association on <br />January 9 & 10, 2026. <br />Background: <br />The Little Canada Recreation Association has applied for a 1-day temporary liquor license for <br />their annual Pond Hockey Tournament on January 11, 2025 at the Old Fire Hall and Fire Barn <br />rink. The application has been submitted and waiting on the certificate of insurance for liquor <br />liability. <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends approval of the 2-day temporary liquor license for Little Canada Recreation <br />Association on January 9 & 10, 2026 subject to receiving the insurance certificate.
