No beds, mattresses, water <br />mattresses, cots, or other such equipment designed or commonly used for sleeping shall <br />be permitted on the premises. This provision does not apply to massage tables used for <br />treatment purposes.” <br /> <br />6. Clarifies that any business licensed only for non-massage CAHC practices may not <br />advertise, represent, or perform massage therapy services. If a business licensed for <br />CAHC practices engages in any massage activity, the CAHC license will be revoked and <br />the business will be required to apply for a massage therapy establishment license, <br />subject to all applicable requirements and the existing license cap. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff recommend the City Council adopt Ordinance 921, an ordinance amending chapters 2202 <br />and 2203, massage and complementary and alternative health care practices, of the Little Canada <br />City Code to regulate non-massage touch-based complementary and alternative health care <br />practices. <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />• Attachment A: Redline Chapter 2202 <br />• Attachment B: Redline Chapter 2203 <br />• Attachment C: Ordinance 921 <br /> <br /> <br />
