Staff Report <br />To:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />From:Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br />Steve Anderson, Parks & Recreation Director <br />Date: December 3, 2025 <br />Re:Accept Resignation of Recreation Coordinator and Authorize Advertising the <br />Position <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />Accept the resignation of Emelie Lindabaur, Recreation Coordinator, and authorize staff <br />to advertise the Recreation Coordinator position immediately. <br />Background: <br />Emelie Lindabaur has submitted her resignation with her last day being December 17, 2025. She <br />was hired in June 2024 and has been a great asset to the Parks Department, and we wish her well <br />in the future. <br />Staff would like to advertise the Recreation Coordinator position immediately in order to have <br />the new hire starting in February since planning for events and the farmer’s market start early in <br />the year. The position will be posted on the League of Minnesota Cities website along with <br />applicable parks and recreation association websites. <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends accepting the resignation of Emelie Lindabaur, Recreation Coordinator, <br />effective December 17, 2025, and authorize staff to advertise the Recreation Coordinator <br />position.
