These <br />individuals volunteer within the community, receive and share community news, participate in <br />city initiatives, and help connect our neighbors and community members. Community <br />Ambassadors also serve as community members who can help generate ideas to expand <br />community engagement and involvement for all. Responsibilities of a Community Ambassador <br />include: <br />o Attending Quarterly Community Ambassador Meetings <br />Each meeting will be held at City Hall and includes a shared buffet-style meal starting at <br />5:30 PM, followed by a presentation at 6:00 PM. <br />February 17 <br />May 19 <br />July 21 <br />November 17 <br />o Receive Information <br />Consent to receiving information from the City of Little Canada directly to your email. <br />Types of information Community Ambassadors would receive include city updates, event <br />and program flyers, graphic images, city surveys, written communication, and more. <br />o Attend Community Engagement Events <br />In 2026, the city plans several new community engagement events as part of a Community <br />Connections series. <br />o Volunteer <br />Volunteering time to help with city events, staff “city booths,” participate in park cleanups, <br />and more is highly encouraged for those who are interested in becoming a Community <br />Ambassador. Examples of volunteer opportunities include: <br />Park Cleanups <br />Event volunteering such as 5K Sap Run, Ice Cream Social, Cookies with Santa <br />City booth staffing at events such as Canadian Days, Farmers Market, and more <br />Host a Night to Unite Block Party <br />o Voice Your Opinion <br />Share opinions on how to increase community engagement and involvement for all <br />community members!
