Staff Report <br />To:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />From:Sam Magureanu, Finance Director <br />Date: December 17, 2025 <br />Re:Year End Bill Processing <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />Approve a December 30, 2025, check run with Council approval by email. <br />Background: <br />Alongside the December 17 check run, it might be necessary to execute another run on <br />December 30, 2025. This would help us process year-end payment requests and make closing the <br />books more efficient. <br />This has been done in the past and works well. City staff will email the typical financial report <br />that the Council reviews during regular meetings to get the check approval before mailing <br />checks. <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff is recommending approval of a year-end check run with the financial report emailed to <br />Council for approval.
