60 <br /> <br />City of Little Canada Personnel Policy <br /> <br />6. Conviction of a felony or of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude while an <br /> employee of the City. <br /> <br />7. Carelessness or negligence with the monies or the properties of the City. <br /> <br />8. Theft or intentional destruction of City property or another employee's property. <br /> <br />9. Sleeping on the job. <br /> 10. Intoxication, or being under the influence of intoxicants, drugs, narcotics or <br />unprescribed psychoactive drugs or any other violation of Section 25 <br /> regarding alcohol and psychoactive drugs. <br /> <br />11. Deliberate or careless conduct endangering the safety of normal operations of the <br />City or other employees, including the provoking of or instigating a fight during <br />working time or on City premises. <br /> 12. Inducing or attempting to induce any employee in the service of the City to <br />commit an unlawful act or to act in violation of any lawful departmental or <br />official regulation, order, or work rule. <br /> <br />13. Accepting any fee, gift or other valuable thing in violation of Section 19 regarding <br />receipt of gifts and other gratuities. <br /> 14. Soliciting political contributions from municipal employees, and engaging in <br />political activities on or with City property or on City time. <br /> <br />15. Unauthorized use of City-owned equipment and vehicles <br /> 16. Failure to comply with safety rules and practices. <br /> 17. Chronic physical or mental incapacity to perform the work of the position. <br /> 18. Unauthorized absence or abuse of leave privileges. <br /> <br />19. Use of official position for personal advantage. <br /> <br />20. Abusive, threatening or coercive treatment of another employee or the public on <br />employer's time or premises. <br /> 21. Any violation of Section 27, Harassment Policy. <br /> <br />22. Activity which has been determined to be incompatible with employment as <br />provided in Section 19 regarding outside employment. <br /> 23. Inattentiveness to work failing to start work at designated time, abuse of break or <br />meal periods, quitting work before proper time, or leaving employer's <br />premises during working hours without authorization from supervisor. <br /> 24. Any violation of CDL Laws. <br /> <br /> 25. Any violation of HIPPA Laws.
