<br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />The property is 1.32 acres and was formerly a parking lot before being developed into a storm pond in <br />2004. The proposed operator’s facility is a permitted use in the C-2 Corridor Mixed district as a <br />“Governmental Building”. <br /> <br />Proposal <br />Metro Transit proposes constructing an approximately 629 square foot operator’s restroom and break <br />area on the city-owned parcel at 0 Market Place Drive to serve employees of the forthcoming G Line <br />bus rapid transit route. Metro Transit is seeking to place the facility in a manner that minimizes the <br />disturbance to the existing drainage pond and slope thereto. Table 1 below displays the <br />relevant/provided setbacks of the proposed facility: <br />Table 1.
