<br /> <br /> Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />From: Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br /> <br />Date: January 28, 2026 <br /> <br />Re: 2026 Recreation Coordinator Services Contract <br /> <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• 2026 Recreation Coordinator Services contract with Don Bowman, Twin Cities Officials. <br /> <br />Background: <br />Please find attached the renewal contract for recreation coordinator services with Twin Cities <br />Officials. This contract was amended in 2021 due to changes in recreation service demands <br />during the pandemic. The 2026 contract is the same as previous years. <br /> <br />The Contracted Recreation Coordinator provides services for certain recreation programs for the <br />City as determined by the City’s Parks and Recreation Director. The services include <br />organization and management of youth and adult recreation programs. Duties also include but <br />are not limited to recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer coaches, sports officials and <br />activity instructors. The Contracted Recreation Coordinator also works in tandem with the Full- <br />Time Recreation Coordinator. This contract goes into effect on February 28, 2026. <br /> <br />Strategic Priority: <br />Empowering High Performance <br /> <br />Source Of Funds: <br />The fee for services provided shall be up to $2,000/ month, with total compensation not to <br />exceed $14,000.
