MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 29, 2012 <br />WATER <br />METER <br />REPLACEMENT <br />PROGRAM <br />2012 <br />LIQUOR <br />LICENSE <br />FEES <br />to review the mobilehome parks and suspects that there problems with <br />some of these sewer connections. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -3 -61— AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXPENDITURE OF UP TO $10,000 FOR THE TELEVISING OF <br />PRIVATE SEWER LATERALS AS PART OF THE CITY'S INFLOW <br />& INFILTRATION PROGRAM AS OUTLINED IN THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT DATED MARCH 21, 2012 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Public Works Superintendent reported that the City has fewer than <br />100 water meters left to replace. Many of these are vacant properties. <br />These meters will be replaced as ownership of these vacant properties <br />changes. <br />The City Clerk reviewed her report dated March 29, 2012 relative to <br />liquor license fee increases. The Clerk noted that for the past six years <br />the Council has tied increases in certain liquor license fees to the <br />increase in the City's Gross Levy. For the 2012 Budget, the Gross Levy <br />increase is at 0 %. The Clerk asked the Council their position on 2012 <br />Liquor Licenses, and pointed out that increases would have to be <br />considered at a public hearing. The Council discussed maintaining 2012 <br />Liquor License fees at the 2011 level given the 0% Gross Levy increase <br />for 2012. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -3 -62 - MAINTAINING 2012 LIQUOR <br />LICENSE FEES AT THE 2011 LEVELS GIVEN THE CITY'S 2012 <br />GROSS LEVY INCREASE OF 0% <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
