WELCOME <br />TO NEW <br />MEMBER <br />MINUTES <br />PUB .PERMIT <br />FOR SIGNAGE- <br />MARKET <br />SQUARE <br />TOWN <br />OFFICES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />FEBRUARY 10, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />February, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Ms <br />Ms <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Scott Barraclough <br />Tom Duray <br />Gary Rheaume <br />Dan Knudsen <br />Tom Wojcik <br />Kathy Weihe <br />Katie Socha <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />The Planning Commission welcomed Katie Socha as a new member <br />completing the term of former Commissioner John Keis. <br />The January 13, 2005 Planning Commission minutes were approved as <br />submitted. <br />Erin Mathern, Mendota Homes, appeared before the Commission <br />requesting a Planned Unit Development Permit for a Comprehensive <br />Sign Plan for the Market Square Town Offices at the corner of <br />Market Place Drive and Middle Street. Mathern reported that there are <br />three elements to the signage for the property. The signage component <br />is the individual signs For each tenant. There are 13 individual offices, and <br />each would have a 2 foot by 3 foot identification sign next to the entrance <br />for each office. The second signage component is the monumnent sign for <br />the townoWce complex, and the third is the State Farm Insurance sign that <br />one tenant wishes to mount on the building. <br />The City Planner reviewed his report relative to the three signage <br />elements. With regard to the individual office signs, the Planner indicated <br />that the proposal meets the City's sign and architectural guidelines. With <br />regard to the monument sign, the Planner recommended that the lettering <br />
