03/15/05 [REVISOR ) JSK /MD A05 -0281 <br />1 the paddlewheel must be located, and the tipboard seal must be <br />2 opened within the leased premises. <br />3 {j} (k) A member of the lessor's immediate family may not <br />4 be a compensated employee of an organization leasing space at <br />5 the premises. For purposes of this paragraph, a "member of the <br />6 immediate family" is a spouse, parent, child, or sibling. <br />7 Sec. 28. Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 349.19, <br />8 subdivision 4, is amended to read: <br />9 Subd. 4. [DISCREPANCIES.] If at a bingo occasion a <br />10 discrepancy of more than $29 $50 is found between the gross <br />11 receipts as reported by the checkers and the gross receipts <br />12 determined by adding the cash receipts, the discrepancy must be <br />13 reported to the board within five days of the bingo occasion. <br />14 Sec. 29. Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 349.19, <br />15 subdivision 10, is amended to read: <br />16 Subd. 10. [PULL -TAB RECORDS.] (a) The board shall by rule <br />17 require a licensed organization to require each winner of a <br />18 pull -tab prize of $50 or more to present identification in the <br />19 form of a driver's license, Minnesota identification card, or <br />20 other identification the board deems sufficient to allow the <br />21 identification and tracing of the winner. The rule must require <br />22 the organization to retain winning pull -tabs of $50 or more, and <br />23 the identification of the winner of the pull -tab, for 3 -1/2 <br />24 years. <br />25 (b) An organization must maintain separate cash banks for <br />26 each deal of pull -tabs unless (1) two or more deals are <br />27 commingled in a s =ngle- receptaele pull -tab dispensing device, or <br />28 (2) the organization uses a cash register, of a type approved by <br />29 the board, which records all sales of pull -tabs by separate <br />30 deals. <br />31 (c) The board shall: <br />32 (1) by rule adopt minimum technical standards for cash <br />33 registers that may be used by organizations, and shall approve <br />34 for use by organizations any cash register that meets the <br />35 standards;; and <br />36 (2) before allowing an organization to use a cash register <br />6 <br />28 <br />
