Highlights of the <br />changes proposed in Attachment A are as follows: <br />V \V \? Y/ \7 <br />Deletion of banners as permitted signage. <br />Inclusion of banners as temporary signage. <br />Addition of maintenance standards for both banners and pennants. <br />Use of banners for specific promotional event with a definite time period. <br />Limit banner size to 32 square feet. <br />As you will recall, there was discussion by the Council about the use of banners to allow liquor <br />establishments to advertise for team sponsorship. Attachment B provides for that option, and <br />highlights of the changes are below: <br />> Allow banners advertising for team sponsorship as permitted signs for liquor <br />establishments. <br />> Inclusion of all other banners as temporary signage. <br />> Clarify that temporary banner signage may be mounted to the building up to the roof <br />peak.
