Honorable Mayor and City Council
April 7, 2005
Page Two
2. Grading should be completed to ensure that the east property line will drain to
the north to the pond.
General Comments
1. The site is over 1 -acre which will require Ramsey Washington Watershed
approval of the grading and erosion control plan and permit.
2. Storm water calculations will need to be provided for review of the pond and
storm sewer sizing. All impervious area drainage must be routed into the
storm water pond at the time the lots are developed. A more detailed grading
plan will need to be submitted, reviewed, and approved prior to development
of either new lot.
3. The Metropolitan Waste Commission should be contacted regarding the
connections to their sanitary sewer for approval.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the above information at (763)
434 -5720.
Sincerely,
ELFERING & ASSOCIATES
Lee Elfering, P.E.
City Engineer
cc: Steve Grittman, NAC
C: \Documents and Settings \kathy.glanzer\Lccal Settings \Temporary Internet Files \OLK2D \Ltr - 042205 -CC (Prelim Plat).doc
17562 Dunkirk Street, Ham Lake, MN 55304 - Phone: (763) 434 -5720 - Fax: (763) 205 -2641
