Dec 09 05 03:01p <br />Dec 09 05 10:11a <br />CHANGE ORDER #1 <br />(Attachment) <br />This contract is amended as follows: <br />p.5 <br />p.3 <br />WHEREAS: This Contract provides for, among other things, watermain installation, sanitary <br />sewer repair, common excavation, aggregate base, concrete work, and <br />bituminous surfacing; and <br />WHEREAS: It was requested during the course of the project by the Ramsey Washington <br />Metro Watershed District that two additional catchbasins be added onto Noel <br />Drive adjacent to their property; and <br />WHEREAS: It was determined by the Engineer in the field that to ensure proper yard drainage <br />on Carla Lane an area inlet had to be installed behind the curb; and <br />WHEREAS: It was determined by the Engineer that a top rail must be added to the chain link <br />fence along the school property to match the existing fence; and <br />WHEREAS: It was requested by the school district that additional openings be provided in the <br />replacement fence to provide better access to the street, and <br />WHEREAS: ft was determined by the Engineer and Park staff that the sitting area adjacent to <br />Gervais Mill Park required modification due to the new street grades; and <br />WHEREAS: It was determined in the field that the existing outlet pipe that was being extend <br />on County Road B2 was a 44" x 27" arch pipe; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that it would of benefit the public that the revisions <br />above should be accomplished during the project so that additional cost would <br />not be accrued in the future. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED AND UNDERSTOOD THAT: <br />1. The Contractor completed the above described changes and additions to the project. <br />2. Payment for the work was reviewed and approved by the Engineer. <br />3. The Contractor will not make claim of any kind or character for any other costs or <br />expenses that he may have incurred or that he may hereafter incur in performing the <br />work or furnishing the materials of this agreement. <br />
