Memo <br />MUCKING .ASSO(I-AT -S <br />TO: Mayor Biesener & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />DATE: December 9, 2005 <br />RE: Restoration Invoices <br />County Road B2 <br />Quotes were received for the restoration work associated with the street reconstruction <br />project on County Road B2 earlier this summer with Twin City Hydro Seeding, Inc. <br />providing the lowest bid received based on unit prices. They have since completed the <br />restoration work and provided two invoices for payment. The first invoice is for grading <br />of the area behind the Sleepy Hollow Apartments for restoration of the storm sewer pipe <br />extension to the pond for $3,420.00. The second invoice is for the restoration of all <br />disturbed areas along County Road B2 for $35,304.51. The work completed on both <br />areas included furnishing and installing top soil and seeding along with erosion blanket <br />where necessary. All work completed is warranted and would be reseeded next year if <br />areas do not establish. <br />Our field inspector has verified the quantities used in each of the two areas. Therefore, <br />we would recommend payment of both invoices to Twin City Hydro Seeding, Inc.
