RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND <br />CALLING FOR HEARING ON MORRISON STREET AND ROSE PLACE <br />WHEREAS, <br />A feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the <br />improvement of Morrison Street between Rose Lane and Demont Avenue and Rose Lane <br />from McMenemy Road west to the dead end by street reconstruction, concrete curb and <br />gutter, and drainage enhancements, and this report was received by the Council on <br />December 14, 2005, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, <br />cost - effective, and feasible. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE <br />CANADA, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of Morrison Street and Rose Place in <br />accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of <br />the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated <br />total cost of $511,000. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10th day of <br />January, 2006, in the Council Chambers of the City Center at 6:30 P.M. and the City <br />Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />Adopted by the Council this 14th day of December, 2005. <br />William Blesener, Mayor <br />Joel R.
