November 9, 2005 Joel Hanson City of Little Canada 515 Little Canada Road East Little Canada , MN 55117 Re: Stand -by Generator Joel HUNT Electric Corporation The following is our quote to furnish and install a stationary stand -by generator at Little Canada City Hall. This stand -by system will be sized to back up the full building electrical load of 37 kW and equipped with a automatic transfer switch which will start the generator and transfer the load when a power outage occurs. This quote includes: • Furnish and install a 50 kW Cat Diesel Generator Model D50P4. • Furnish and install a 400 amp Cat CTG Open Transition Automatic Transfer Switch. • Install all the 400 amp underground feeders (Generator — to — Transfer Switch , Transformer — to — Transfer Switch and re -route and extend the existing 400 amp service conduit and wire to the Transfer Switch). • Install two circuits from the distribution panel in the basement out to the generator for the battery charger and the coolant heater. • Coordination with Xcel energy for scheduled outage. • Electrical Permit. This quote includes some premium time pay assuming that the scheduled outage for the service cut -over will be done on a week -end. This quote does not include any additional concrete work. It assumes that the generator will be placed on the existing concrete pad. Also this quote assumes that the project would be done with no frost in the ground. frost charges will be added if done during winter months.
