Please note that the following fund <br />budgets were excluded as they have not changed since the initial budget workshop. <br />• Park & Recreation Special Fund <br />• Cable TV Fund <br />• Bonded Indebtedness <br />• Debt Service <br />• 10% Fund <br />• Gambling Enforcement Fund <br />MAYOR <br />Bill Blesener <br />COUNCIL <br />Jim LaValle <br />Ricic Montour <br />Barbara Allan <br />John Keis <br />ADMINISTRATOR <br />Joel R. Hanson <br />We will be reviewing the above along with the updates attached so please bring along <br />your prior budget document to the workshop. <br />As you know, we established the preliminary levy at the September 14, 2005, council <br />meeting. The gross levy was set at $2,211,188 with a net levy of $1,975,723. These <br />amounts represent a 3.74% and 5.95% increase over the 2005 gross and net levies. <br />Options to lower the levy or increase revenues were also discussed. Subsequently, staff <br />has reviewed these options further and the budget as a whole. Based on this review staff <br />is recommending the following modifications to the 2006 proposed budget: <br />
