Hanson
www.ci.little-canada.mn.us
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: October 7, 2005
RE: Revisions to Gervais Hills Grading Plan
The developer is requesting to modify the approved grading plan for Gervais Hills.
Apparently, they want to change house styles on some of the lots and this necessitates revised
grades. They have provided the City Engineer with a sketch of the proposed changes. Based
on that review, the City Engineer feels the proposed changes would improve grades over the
plan that is already in place. However, he has asked the developer's engineer to prepare
appropriate documentation to allow for a thorough review before making a final
recommendation to the City Council. Given the fact the developer's builder wants to keep
moving on construction, we anticipate they will have this information ready by early next
week and in time to finalize his recommendation for Wednesday's meeting.
cc: Lee Elfering, City Engineer
Steve Grittman, City Planner
Steve Westerhaus, Building Official
