On October 11, 2005, the Ramsey County Board also approved the Agreement on a 7 -0 vote. Enclosed is a copy of the Maplewood /Ramsey County Agreement. The Maplewood agreement provides for sharing costs of operation for dispatch services, with 60% of the annual costs placed on the countywide levy and 40% based on calls for service. I would like to meet with you to discuss the terms of a contract to provide dispatch services to your community. I anticipate that actual contractual agreements would incorporate similar terms in keeping with the desire to share costs based on 60% of the cost placed on the countywide levy and 40% of the costs based on calls for service. I will be contacting your office to set up a time for us to meet. Also enclosed is a draft resolution that you may wish to present to your City Council.
