CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE TAX <br />ABATEMENT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada, Minnesota (the "City") has contemplated granting <br />property tax abatement on the Hidden Acres Subdivision (the "Development ") in order to provide <br />for public infrastructure through the acquisition of right -of -way associated with the extension of <br />Nadeau Road between Condit Street and Concetta Way and the reconstruction of Condit Street <br />between Nadeau Road and Yorkton Court (the "Public Improvement ") pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Sections 469.1812 through 469.1815 (the "Act "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Development is legally described as Lots 1 -5, Block 1 and Lots 1 -6, Block <br />2 of the Plat known as Hidden Acres within the City of Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to consider granting tax abatement of all or a <br />portion of the City's share of property taxes from the Development and to hold a public hearing <br />thereon in accordance with the Act; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />that: <br />1. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to prepare a notice for publication <br />in the City's official newspaper setting a public hearing before the City Council on Wednesday, <br />November 23, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers on the proposed tax abatement. The <br />notice shall be published in the newspaper at least 10 but not more than 30 days prior to the public <br />hearing, and shall be in substantially the form attached hereto. <br />2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to take all other actions necessary <br />to bring the proposed tax abatement before the City Council at the time of the public hearing. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Stacy this 26th day of October, 2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />Joel R.
