WELCOME <br />TO NEW <br />MEMBER <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 11, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 1 lth day of <br />August, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Mr. Gary Rheaume <br />Ms. Katie Socha <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Brandon Rickert, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />The Planning Commission welcomed new member, Mr. Jon Hall. <br />MINUTES The July 14, 2005 Planning Commission meeting minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />CUP FOR <br />OVERSIZED <br />GARAGE — <br />735 ALLEN <br />AVENUE — <br />AMY INMAN <br />Amy Inman appeared before the Commission requesting approval of a <br />Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction of an attached garage <br />that is 1,224 square feet in size. Inman reported that she is constructing <br />a new house at 785 Allen Avenue, the proposed garage will be attached, <br />and the additional space is needed for the indoor storage of vehicles and <br />lawn equipment. Inman reported that construction has begun on the <br />house, and the foundation for both the house and the garage are in. <br />Without the CUP, an interior wall will be constructed to make the garage <br />area over 1,000 square feet into a shop. Her preference, however, was to <br />have the entire space as garage area. <br />
