Title and RAB, LLC are requesting a variance for a Cummins
604HZ Generator located at 2925 Country Drive. In accordance with
Ordinance 280L110:
A. We would request the variance on a permanent status.
B. The generator is located at 2925 Country Drive on the
west side of building and 16 feet off property line.
Present time of operation is weekly 2:00 p.m. Sunday for
30 minutes to be changed on December 10, 2003, to
twice monthly at 2:00 p.m. Sunday for 30 minutes.
C. Onan Diesel Model 159 -1473 120/208, 150KW.
D. Present mean average of (dB)s is 71.8 @ 23 feet which
exceeds Ordinance 2801,040 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00
p.m.
E. Talking to neighbors directly to the west of generator we
have changed time of start-up tests from once a week for
30 minutes to twice a month on day agreed upon from
their request. We have received approval from Onan to
proceed with this venue. We will further buffer generator
with natural habitat in the Spring of 2004 when we
remove a berm on present site to further reduce noise
emission. This should minimize the noise to almost an
acceptable (dB)s but not certain. This generator is used
only in emergency situations when power is lost to
building.
Patrick J. Daulton, Chairman, C.I. Title and Richard A.
Biagini, C.E.O, RAC, LLC
Thank you for your cooperation with this issue.
