MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 28, 2004 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Jack Bougie, Condit Street, indicated that he agreed with the comments <br />made by Mr. Grant. The generator is very loud and a nuisance. Bougie <br />indicated that he liked Mr. Blesener's suggestion for construction of a <br />type -type screen that would bounce the noise toward the freeway. Bougie <br />suggested that if this is the best solution, that the structure be constructed <br />to match the existing trash enclosures on the property. <br />There was no one else from the general public wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Blesener, the public review was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -1 -21 — TAI3LING ACTION ON THE <br />REQUEST FOR E1'EMPTION FROM NOISE ORDINANCE <br />PENDING A _RECOMMENDATION FROM CITY STAFF FOR WAYS <br />TO MITIGATE THE NOISE TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD, WITH <br />THAT RECOMMENDATION TO BE MADE BY APRIL OR MAY OF <br />2004 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Montour, LaValle, Blesener, Anderson. <br />Nays (0).
