At this workshop the LMNC provided a
self - assessment process outline to guide the City through a self - assessment. The City of Little
Canada used this outline to complete a self- assessment that resulted in an understanding of the
City's current storm water problems, programs and future priorities.
Throughout the process of selection and development of the Best Management Practices (BMPs)
that establish the basis for the Storm Water Prevention Program (SWPPP), the City has
considered the significant sources of-pollution, the potentially polluting activities being
conducted in the watershed and the sensitivity of the receiving waters. The City has also
considered the physical and organizational characteristics of the minor watersheds within the
City. The ultimate goal of the City's SWPPP is to control or reduce the discharge of storm water
generated pollutants to receiving waters.
;itv q[ Little i anada.
