=a <br />B4P Name: Post Construction Runoff Co finance <br />Unique ID: 5 -02 -R <br />MCM: 45 — Post Construction Storm Water Management <br />ok Little Cdndcid <br />COMMUNITY 021DE <br />1953 - 2CO3 <br />Description: <br />The City of Little Canada currently does not have any ordinances and standards that address post- <br />construction runoff controls at sites where land disturbing activities are occurring. The City will <br />develop a program to maintain the BMP within the MS4 <br />.Justification: <br />Ordinances are an effective way to establish performance standards for runoff controls. These <br />performance standards might, for example, specify a target for percent removal of annual post - <br />development total suspended solids loading, require maintenance of annual ground water recharge <br />rates, or limit nmoff volumes and rates such that receiving waters are not negatively impacted. This <br />is a required BIM in pennit pat V.G.5.b. <br />Responsible Staff /Position: <br />Public Works Director 651.766.4049 <br />Measurable Goals: <br />1. Review current City ordinances, other City ordinances and on -line resources for potential <br />programs that could be implemented in the City of Little Canada by March 10, 2005 <br />2. Complete background and draft ordinance structure by March 10, 2006. <br />3. Begin formal ordinance development process by March 10, 2007. <br />4. Complete process and Council approval by March 10, 2008. <br />implementation Schedule: <br />1. See measurable goal descriptions. <br />Education Program /Public Outreach Component: <br />1. Audience or audiences: Any resident, contractor, City staff, business or state or public agency <br />conducting land disturbance activities in the City. <br />2. Increased awareness: For all the above listed individuals to identify with the basic goal of the <br />MS4 program - to reduce sediment discharges to City waters from construction sites.
