City of Little Canada, Minnesota <br />PART V, STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PROGRAM <br />The SWPPP as summarized in Item G of this section, was designed to minimize the <br />discharge of pollutants from the City's MS4, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the <br />appropriate water quality requirements of the Clean Water Act. <br />B. The City's SWPPP was designed and will be managed to minimize the discharge of <br />pollutants from the City's system to the Maximum Extent Practicable (MEP). <br />C. The City will submit an annual report in accordance with the Reporting Requirements of <br />Part VI. C, of the permit. <br />D. In the development the City's SWPPP, the City has considered the sources of pollutants, the <br />potentially polluting activities being conducted in the watershed, and the sensitivity of the <br />receiving waters as summarized below. <br />There are no "Outstanding Resource Value Waters" as Listed in Minn. R. 7050.0180, subp. <br />6, 6a, or 6b, within the City. <br />E. See specific BNIP summaries under Item G of this Section of the permit application. <br />F. The City understands that the SWPPP in Item G becomes an enforceable part of the permit <br />upon receipt by the Agency and that modifications to the SWPPP (required or allowed by <br />the penult) also become enforceable. <br />G. BMP summary sheets are provided in the attached SWPPP for each of the six (6) minimum <br />control measures that follow. The unique BNIP identification number is listed for each <br />item in the applicable permit provision. An "R" extension in the BNIP unique ID means the <br />BMP is required in the permit. BMPs without and "R are those the City has included to <br />meet local goals. A summary table of the BMPs is also provided in the attached SWPPP. <br />I. Public education and outreach on storm water impacts. <br />a. See BMP sheets 1 -01 -R through 1 -05 for our Public Education Program. <br />b. See BMP sheets 2-01-R, 3 -01 -R, 4 -01 -R, 5 -01 -R and 6 -01 -R for the Public <br />Education Program for each Minimum Control Measure. <br />c. Each sheet listed in item b. addresses the following item for each of the six <br />minimum control measures: <br />I) The audience or audiences involved; <br />2) Educational goals for each audience in terms of increased awareness, <br />ncreaseci understanding, acquired skills, and/or desired changes in behavior: <br />3) Activities used to reach educational goals for each audience; <br />City of Little Canada.
