MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 25, 2004 <br />GAMBLING <br />ORDINANCE <br />JUNK <br />CAR <br />SWEEP <br />TWIN LAKE <br />AREA <br />WATERMAIN <br />Sans <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -2 -34 — INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />PLANNER TO REVIEW THE PUD ZONING DISTRICT RELATIVE <br />TO THE DISCUSSION THIS EVENING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (3) Fahey, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council instructed the City Administrator to send a letter to the <br />County indicating that :Little Canada is not interested in a suburban court <br />facility within the City. <br />The Council reviewed the recommendation of City staff relative to <br />clarification of 10% Fund required contributions. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -2 -35 — INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN AMENDMENT TO GAMBLING <br />ORDINANCE AS RELATES TO REQUIRED 10% FUND <br />CONTRII3 UTIONS AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (3) LaValle, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reviewed his report dated February 20''' relative <br />to a more proactive approach to the elimination of junk cars within the <br />City. It was the consensus of the Council to support a more proactive <br />approach provided that consideration is given to seasonal weather <br />conditions in requiring the removal of these vehicles. <br />Anderson suggested that information be provided in the City's newsletter, <br />on cable TV, and on the Web site informing property owners of the City's <br />proactive approach in eliminating junk cars. <br />The City Administrator reported that since the February 23rd Improvement <br />Hearing, he has contacted the Vadnais Heights' City Administrator and <br />was informed that there is the potential that Vadnais Heights will loop <br />- 2 3 - <br />13 <br />
