Section. 3. Snow -olowinc Technicue. Snow will be plowed in a <br />manner suited to minimize any traffic obstructions. The center of the <br />roadway will be plowed first. The snow will be plowed from left to <br />right with the discharge going onto the boulevard area of the street. <br />In times of extreme snowfall, streets will be cleared as quickly as <br />possible to facilitate the movement of vehicles so that they may be <br />removed from the roadway and the streets plowed to their full width. <br />Section 4. Snow Removal. The Public Works Superintendent will <br />determine when snow will be removed by truck from an area. Such snow <br />removal will occur in areas where there is no room on the boulevard for <br />snow storage and in areas where accumulation of snow creates a <br />hazardous condition. Snow removal operations will not commence until <br />all other snowplowing operations have been completed. Snow removal <br />operations may also be delayed depending on weather conditions, <br />personnel and budget availability. The snow will be removed and hauled <br />to a snow storage area. The snow storage area will be located so as to <br />minimize any hazards to the environment. <br />Section 5. Priorities. Main arteries and streets where schools <br />are located shall be the top priority to be cleared. Secondary streets <br />will be the next cleared along with cul -de -sacs. The Fire Department, <br />City Hall, and City parking lots shall be cleared along with the other <br />priority roads. After the residential streets have been plowed, <br />snowplowing will then commence on park areas, parking lots and rinks, <br />and lastly trails and sidewalks. <br />Section 6. Restricted Parkins.
