RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION FOR LAYOUT APPROVAL AND FUTURE COST PARTICIPATION <br />At a Meeting of the City Council of the City of Little Canada, held on the _ day <br />of , 2004., the following Resolution was offered by and seconded by <br />to wit: <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has prepared a final layout for the improvement of I -35E <br />between TH 36 and County Road E and 1 -694 between Rice Street and TH 61, portions of which are <br />within the City of Little Canada; and seeks the approval thereof: and <br />WHEREAS, said final layouts are on file in the Minnesota Department of Transportation Metro Division <br />office, in Roseville, Minnesota, being marked, labeled and identified as Layout No. 4B S.P. 6280 -304; and <br />WHEREAS, improvements to city utilities and drainage appurtenances have been included in the said <br />final layouts. <br />WHEREAS, based upon the Minnesota Department of Transportation's "Procedures for Cooperative <br />Construction Projects with Local Units of Government ", the city share for this work is estimated to be <br />$433,518 dollars. <br />Whereas, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has requested that the City formally indicate its <br />intent to participate in the costs of utility and drainage improvements requested by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said final layouts for the improvement of said Trunk <br />Highway within the corporate limits be and hereby approved, and the City agrees to participate in costs <br />associated with this project as set forth in the Minnesota Department of Transportation's "Policy and <br />Procedures for Cooperative Construction Projects with Local Units of Government ". <br />Upon the call of the roll the following Council Members voted in favor of the Resolution: <br />9 <br />
