MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA APRIL 25, 2012 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 25th day of April, 2012 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Council Member Council Member Council Member ABSENT: ALSO PRESENT: Council Member City Administrator Ramsey County Citizen City Clerk Mr. Bill Blesener Ms. Shelly Boss Mr. John Keis Mr. Rick Montour Mr. Mike McGraw Mr. Joel Hanson Mr. Jerry Auge Mr. Tom Duray Ms. Kathy Glanzer INFORMATION The purpose of this evening's workshop is to conduct an UPDATE information update with the City Council. RICE STREET PHASE 11 PROJECT The first item of discussion relates to the Rice Street Phase II project extending from County Road B -2 to County Road C -2 (Market Place Drive), and Jerry Auge, Ramsey County Public Works, presented the project status to the Council. Auge began with a detailed review of the project changes since the Rice Street Phase II project was last reviewed with the Council. Auge noted that the existing 52 foot wide road will be replaced at the same width (48 feet of pavement and two 2 -foot curbs) except at the County Road C intersection at which additional turn lanes are proposed to be added both on Rice Street and County Road C. Auge noted that the Demont Avenue driveway accesses for Hoggsbreath and Papa Murphy's are proposed to be aligned a minimum of 60 feet from the Rice Street intersection. The Code requires the 60 feet driveway setback from the intersection.
