MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 12, 2004 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of <br />August, 2004 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Gary Rheaume <br />Ms. Kathy Weihe <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ABSENT: Mr. John Keis <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Brandon Rickert, Cable TV <br />V[s. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES The July 8, 2004 Planning Commission minutes were approved as <br />submitted. <br />PROPERTY Patricia Erickson, 761 LaBore Road, appeared before the Commission <br />DIVISION — requesting approval of the division of her property into two lots. <br />761 LABORS Erickson indicated that the existing garage on the property would be <br />ROAD — removed since it is currently located on what would be the new lot. <br />ERICKSON <br />Knudsen pointed out the City Planner's recommendation that the site plan <br />show the ability to place a garage on the lot being retained by Mrs. <br />Erickson. Mrs. Erickson indicated that she does not plan to rebuild a <br />garage, but will have a small storage shed on her property. <br />The City Planner indicated that the Code requires that single - family <br />properties have space for a garage. The Planner indicated in order to meet <br />this requirement, Mrs. Erickson's surveyor should provide a sketch <br />showing the ability to place a two -car garage on the property. <br />
