The primary purpose of this workshop is to ensure you are
informed about this proposal and to ensure adequate measures are being taken to protect Lake Gervais.
(This is GLA's primary concern.)
To aid in your preparation for this meeting, I am attaching the pertinent documentation surrounding this
issue. The materials I am including for your review are as follows:
✓ E -mail from me dated February 19th that that served as the agenda for our February 26th
discussion with Ramsey County, Ramsey/Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD),
representatives of the Gervais Lake Association (GLA), and City Staff relative to this issue.
✓ Precipitation Chart discussed at February 26`h meeting.
✓ Grass Lake Water Level chart reviewed at February 26`h meeting.
✓ DNR Field Survey Report for West Vadnais Lake.
✓ MnDot Drainage Plan Sheets (three pages) that depict the overflow project.
✓ March 11th GLA letter to Cliff Aichinger of RWMWD.
✓ March 17th response from Terry Noonan of Ramsey County Public Works to Mark Weavers of
GLA.
✓ March 31st response from Cliff Aichinger of RWMWD to Mark Weavers of GLA.
I am assuming the GLA letter of March 11`" will serve as the basis for the discussion at our workshop.
