It will be at City Hall.
The Gervais Lake Association Board will be in attendance - I don't know how many people that will involve given the time of day
we are holding the meeting.
After discussing this with Mugs Nadine, I believe they will want the following questions answered at a minimum:
1. Why is the water level in West Vadnais getting to high ( causes)?
2. What impact is that having on West Vadnais, the adjacent properties, and the Rice Creek Watershed?
3. When did this problem start?
4. Where is the water coming from that is discharging into West Vadnais (watershed depiction).
5. If the overflow discharge were to occur, what control mechanism(s) will be used to ensure the outflow does not exceed the
specified rate?
6. What is the planned discharge rate?
7. Can the discharge be stopped in periods of already high water so as not to exacerbate the downstream ( Gervais) impact?
8. What agencies need to approve this possibility?
9. What is the status of approval?
10. What authority does the City of Little Canada have in this matter?
Joel Hanson
City Administrator
City of Little Canada
(651) 766-4040
2/26/04
2
