Fahey
COUNCIL
Jiin LaValle
Matt Anderson
Rick Montour
Pill l3lesener
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Attached are revised TNT slides. Please note that the previous slides were based on the
tax rates prior to applying market value credits. These slides include the impact of
market value credits. The taxes reflected in the revised slides are lower than those
reflected previously. Additionally, these figures will be more in line with the TNT
notices received by the residents. The percent changes currently reflected are impacted
by the MV credit, and therefore are not as consistent between value levels as the prior
slides.
The last schedule attached details the valuation increases on residential properties in the
city. As you can see, 71% of the properties in the city had a property value increase of
15 %. There were 412 properties, which had value increases in excess of 15 %, and the
median increase of these properties was 19.8 %.
Based on this, the slides attached reflect a 0% increase, 15% increase, and 20% increase.
For the TNT hearing, our intent is to use the 0% and 15% increase slides and note that
16% of the properties had increases above 15 %.
I- I:AShellvRAConespondcnceAShelly 2004V2005 Lcvy.doc
