Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: September 17, 2004
RE: Gervais EIills Preliminary Plat
MAYOR
Michael 1. Fahey
COUNCIL
Jim LaValle
Matt Anderson
Rick Montour
Bill Blesener
ADMINIS1RATOR
Joel R. Ranson
The developers have submitted revised grading and drainage plans. Attached is the City Engineer's
letter indicating his comments relative to the review of these drawings. It should be noted that the
developer failed to make the September Watershed meeting and, therefore, does not have approval on
these grading and drainage plans. Based on our previous comments (see my letter to Jon Whitcomb
dated July 21s), staff feels this is critical before we act on the Preliminary Plat given the
environmentally sensitive nature of this area.
Staff will be meeting with the developer and the Watershed on Monday, September 20th• We will
provide an update based on the results of that meeting at Wednesday's meeting. As things currently
stand, we cannot yet recommend approval of the Preliminary Plat.
cc: Jon Whitcomb
Cliff Aichinger, Watershed
