City of Little Canada, Minnesota Ordinance No. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 702 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, EXPANDING THE LIST OF PERMITTED LICENSEES AND MODIFYING THE HOURS OF SALE The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: Section 1. Section 702.020 TYPES OF LICENSES is hereby amended to read as follows: (1) " On -sale "licenses shall be granted only to restaurants, hotels, drug stores, billiard halls, and clubs. --On-sale" licenses shall permit the sale of 3.2 percent malt liquor for consumption on the premises only. Section 2. Section 702.090 HOURS OF SALE is hereby amended to read as follows: (1) No 3.2 percent malt liquor shall be sold between the hours of 1:00 o'clock a.m. and 8:00 o'clock a.m. on the days of Monday through Saturday, nor between 1:00 o'clock a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. No --on-sale" licensee shall permit the consumption of 3.2 percent malt liquor during the hours when sale is prohibited, except that the licensee shall be—a owed- a 30 minute period follow -rng cl ar the premicesrAty any customer purchasing 3.2 percent malt liquor prior to 1:00 o'clock a.m., may consume such beverage on the premises up until 1:30 o'clock a.m. Under n circumctancco shall any individuals, whether or not customers, ether than the owners oe -empl ycec of the liti se be all wcd to remain e - - aftc (2) With respect to a licensee who has obtained an on -sale 2:00 a.m. intoxicating liquor license, any customer purchasing 3.2 percent malt liquor prior to 2:00 o'clock a.m., may consumer such beverage on the premises up until 2:30 o'clock a.m. Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication. Adopted this 8th day of September, 2004.
