In general car <br />parking areas, such a design may consist of a .? compacted <br />granular base course overlain by a 2" hot-mix bituminous wearl <br />surface. In driveways and truck-loading areas, the pavement; <br />design may consist of a 7" compacted granular base course over- <br />lain by a <br />Yc <br />hot-mix bituminous binder course and a 11" hot-mix <br />bituminous wearing surface. Where buried organic soils remain <br />below the pavement, some future maintenance should be anticipated. <br />GENERAL. <br />The soil conditions have been established at our test <br />hole locations only. There are likely to be variations in coed <br />itions between and around the borings, and interpolation or <br />extrapolation of the results is not warranted. <br />During construction, all excavations, earthwork, fill <br />placement and compaction should be inspected and approved by <br />a qualified soil engineer.
