EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: October 23, 2002 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners <br />of the Economic Development Authority of the City of Little Canada, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the 23rd day of October, 2002 <br />at o'clock P.M. for the purpose, in part, of calling a public hearing on the disposition of <br />property. <br />The following Members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Resolution <br />RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE <br />DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota (the "Authority ") has received a proposal from The Lodge at Little Canada LLC, a <br />Minnesota limited liability company, (the "Developer ") that the Authority convey certain <br />property to the Developer to be used for a 79 unit housing facility located at 2814 Rice Street in <br />the City of Little Canada (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority proposes to undertake the Project as a redevelopment project <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.001 to 469.068 (the "HRA Law "); and <br />WHEREAS, Section 469.029 of the IIRA Law requires, among other things, that when <br />an authority determines to convey property it must first hold a public hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority desires to call a public hearing on November 13, 2002, on the <br />proposed disposition of property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners (the "Board ") <br />of the Economic Development Authority of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. Public Hearing on Disposition of Property. This Board shall meet at the time and <br />place specified in the form of notice attached hereto as Exhibit A for the purpose of holding a <br />public hearing on the proposed disposition of property, pursuant to and in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.029, as amended. <br />146)707v1 <br />
