Hanson <br />As part of the Little Canada Road turnback and reconstruction project with Ramsey County, we had negotiated <br />the transfer in title of the above referenced lots from Ramsey County to the City. These lots abut Round Lake <br />(see map attached). This transfer took longer to materialize than originally anticipated. As a result the Little <br />Canada Road improvement was completed and specially assessed. Ramsey County does not want to be <br />responsible for the assessments. <br />I have attached the assessment rolls for both lots. As this is part of our future Round Lake Park, I would <br />recommend we authorize the payment of the outstanding assessments for these lots, including any interest and <br />penalties that may have accrued, from our Park Land Acquisition Fund. I would also recommend we approve <br />the acceptance of the deed for this property as attached. <br />
