MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 16, 2008 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 16th day of <br />January, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Ms. Barb Allan <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Michael McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel R. Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the <br />2008-03 - improvement of Lakeside Court from Keller Parkway to the cul-de-sac <br />LAKESIDE by reconstructed road surface, concrete curb and gutter, water main, and <br />COURT drainage enhancements. <br />The City Engineer presented a detailed report relative to this proposed <br />improvement. That report outlined the project history relative to street <br />condition and utilities. It was noted that there is no water main in <br />Lakeside Court. Sanitary sewer extends the length of the road. There are <br />catch basins at the intersection of Keller Parkway. The Engineer noted <br />that the pavement rating for Lakeside Court at 40 out of a possible 100. <br />The existing pavement is 28 feet wide with a 40-foot radius for the cul-de- <br />sac. There is some bituminous curbing along the road. <br />The Engineer then reviewed the proposed improvements as outlined in his <br />report, noting that the proposal is to reconshuct a 28-foot urban section <br />sheet from Keller Parkway to the end of the cul-de-sac. Concrete curb <br />and gutter as well as concrete driveway aprons would be installed. Storm <br />sewer would be provided to serve the curbed sections of the roadway. <br />Rainwater gardens would be installed where practical for storm water <br />treatment. Water main would also be installed along with services to all <br />properties. <br />
