To date, I have reviewed the available existing site information, talked with several members of the City's staff and have performed a field review of the site. Our firm will be performing a boundary and topographic survey for the site. Once the survey is completed, final site engineering drawing will be produced. We will work closely with City staff to insure that any issues that they may have concerning this site are addressed. The proposed addition will not only help expand their business, but will help clean up the site by removing many of the undesirable visual aspects that exist with this site as it currently operates. 1 expect that we should be able to complete the boundary and topographic survey in the net couple of weeks and that final plans should be completed within one month, if not sooner. Based upon my review of the project, 1 do no see any major engineering issues with the proposed addition. 1 would ask that the City Council Approve the project at this time, contingent on staff approval of the final plans prior to the issuance of a building permit. We will continue to work with City staff in the development of the final plans to insure that this will be a quality project and that the concerns of the City's staff are addressed. Sincerely; Jay R.
