Due to the fact that there is a large number of boaters in are immediate area
that with out this facility would be forced to drive and haul their watercraft
to outlying cities or suburbs to obtain service and purchase parts and
supplies. It is are goal to maintain a marine dealership here in the immediate
area to service the large number of boaters in the community and other
surrounding areas. As we all know recreational boating and fishing is a way
of life for thousands of Minnesota people.
Our type of business does not create excessive amounts of traffic that would
cause any traffic problems in the area proposed.
At this time we respectfully ask the planning board and council to consider
are request for a PUD or a zoning change that would accommodate our
business needs. I believe our business would be a great asset to the
community as it was on Rice Street for thirty years. As a Little Canada
business we would like to be an active participant in the community and help
in any way possible with any special events.
Sincerely Yours
Glenn L Kloskin
President
