.1HUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. lc, 1*9J <br />Poolside <br />(Cont.) <br />Poolside. Fahey reported that the older buildings on the Poolside <br />property are scheduled to come down after the new building is <br />completed. Poolside has posted bonds to cover the landscapino and <br />removal of the older buildings. <br />Tahey suggested that the City post Jackson a 3-ton road and limit <br />access by Poolside to this weight classification after construction <br />is completed. Fahey pointed out that the neighboring properties <br />are also zoned commercial. <br />The Planner confirmed that the neighboring residences are zoned <br />commiercial, and have been since 1954. <br />The neighbors of Poolside wore concerned that they have trash and <br />garbage blowing on their properties from Poolside and also that <br />Poolside gets its garbage picked up at 3 Ail. each week. <br />Scalze commented that she thought the tank at the Poolside property <br />was to he removed. <br />Hr. 3lesener suggested that the Planner and Suilding Inspector sit <br />down with Poolside to determine their plans. Rl esener pointed out <br />that the Planner and Building Inspector were So instructed at the <br />last Council meeting. <br />Fahey asked Council feelings for shutting off access to Jackson <br />by Poolside. Fahey questioned why they need this access and pointed <br />out that Poolside should not have semis coming down Jackson as it is <br />only a 3-ton road. <br />Collova also commented that Poolside could have the hours its garbage <br />is picked changed. <br />.nei ghhori nq property owner pointed out that Poolside has a retail <br />business going 7 days per week and these customers were using <br />Jackson Street. <br />Scalze suggested that the tape of the previous Council meeting at <br />which Poolside's development plans were approved should be listened <br />to as they may have wanted the access for employees. That meeting <br />was in November of 1984. <br />Fahey suggested that the City Clerk listen to the tape and inform <br />the Council on what he learns regarding access to Jackson Street <br />or the Poolside tank. <br />A resident of the area asked if there would be screening on the <br />Poolside property towards their residential homes. <br />Fahey pointed out that their property was zoned commercial and <br />screening is not required between commercial properties. <br />Page -10- <br />
