MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 30, 2008 WATER WORKS The City Administrator reviewed the City Engineer's report dated TRAIL STORM January 24, 2008 relative to the storm sewer repair needed on the pipe SEWER crossing the St. Paul Water Works property near 153 Little Canada Road. The Engineer noted in his report that nearly all the drainage conveyed by this pipe comes from the apartment complex at 153 Little Canada Road, therefore, is proposing that the repair work be assessed to the complex. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2008-1-29 -ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING AN IMPROVEMENT HEARING FOR ST. PAUL WATER WORKS TRAIL STORM SEWER REPAIR FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY20, 2008 AT 7:15 P.M. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. TEMPORARY Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: LIQUOR LICENSE- RESOLUTION N0.2008-1-30-APPROVINGATEMPORARY ST. JOHN'S LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE ST. JOHN'S SCHOOL SILENT SILENT AUCTIONAND DINNER TO BEHELD ON FRIDAY, APRIL 25, AUCTION & 2008 DINNER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. MN/DOT The City Administrator reviewed the Public Works Superintendent's INVOICE report dated January 29, 2008 relative to an invoice the City received UNWEAVE from MN DOT for additional water main, storm sewer, and sanitary THE sewer improvements for the Edgerton and County Road D portion of WEAVE the improvement. These were improvements requested by the City beyond the initial scope of the Unweave The Weave project. Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2008-1-31-AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $31,190.67 TO MN DOT FOR CITYREQUESTED WATER MAIN, STORM SEWER, AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS THAT WERE INCL UDED IN THE UNWEAVE THE WEAVE PROJECT 16
