Hanson <br />As you know, on October 15, 1953, Little Canada was incorporated. Given the 50th Anniversary of <br />this event is little more than a year away, it is time to begin planning for a celebration. Staff's <br />recommendation is that a 50th Anniversary Committee be created to do the planning, and that the <br />Committee be comprised of the following representation: <br />2 City Council Members; <br />I Historical Society Member; <br />1 Canadian Days Committee Member; <br />1 Fire Department Member; <br />1 Little Canada Recreation Association Member; <br />2 Citizens -At- Large; <br />2 City Staff members (City Administrator and Deputy Clerk). <br />If Council agrees, please designate your representatives to the Committee. Staff will then contact the <br />appropriate organizations with a request for a representative as well as advertise for citizen <br />representatives. <br />
